Boundary Trails Health Centre is a regional facility located between Winkler and Morden at the intersection of Highway #3 & #14. It represents the latest technology and most sophisticated building systems available. Eden Health Care Services
Eden Health Care Services is the umbrella organization for a range of mental health programs including residential care services, counselling, acute psychiatric care, and employment training. Eden Mental Health Centre, in addition to its 40-bed in patient unit, also provides mental health services to more than 1,000 people annually through its Community Services Department.

C.W. Wiebe Medical Centre
The Dr. C.W. Wiebe Medical Centre is a state-of-the-art medical centre serving Winkler and surrounding areas. The Centre has 32 family physicians, two general surgeons, three orthopedic surgeons, one obstetrician/gynecologist. Additional care providers include one physician assistant, one mental health professional, one clinical psychologist, a dietician, an x-ray technician, 6 nurses and a respiratory therapist/educator. It also features an Urgent Care Centre which offers extended hours for non-life threatening situations on a walk-in basis. In addition, the Medical Centre operates a digital x-ray system that is connected to the Boundary Trails Health Centre.

The C.W. Wiebe Medical Centre works in partnership with the Winkler and District Health Care Board (WDHCB) to provide quality primary care to more than 24,000 patients in this area. The WDHCB is a non-profit organization with a volunteer board of directors that owns and provides the facility and all the equipment to the Medical Centre. The WDHCB board is a registered charity and receives donations and is financially supported by the City of Winkler and the surrounding municipalities of Stanley, Rhineland and Roland as well as the C.W. Wiebe Medical Corporation. The C.W. Wiebe Medical Corporation is responsible for the operation of the Medical Centre paying rent to the WDHCB for the facility and equipment as well as covering other operating costs such as staffing costs, medical supplies, office supplies, Electronic Medical Record costs and the recruitment of new physicians. This community partnership has provided many benefits in being able to meet the growing demands for new and additional health care services in the Winkler area.

The C.W. Wiebe Medical Centre has a strong focus on quality primary care including prevention and chronic diseases management through involvement with Manitoba Health’s Physician Integrated Network program. The Medical Centre also believes in the use of technology to provide optimal patient care and supports providing medical teaching to medical students and Family Practice Residents from the University of Manitoba.
